Our White's of Union County are enter-married with individual family members, in Will's 2, 3, 4, 5.  Will 1, is interesting in that a Robert is mentioned as Robert White Senr, exrs... Robert could be Stephen's brother, reference the DEEDS section of the Family Research Center, for the Stephen and Robert combinations, also note that Stephen White, "LEFT HIS SMITH TOOLS", to his son, Our Robert was also a Blacksmith.  Will 5 is of particular
interest...

This Will is of particular interest, as it had Thomas Betterton
as Exec of the Will, Stephen White, Robt's son, married his daughter
Nancy Betterton, in addition, Wm White son of Robt Sr is listed, at this
time, Robert Jr, was still to young to perform these duties, these Bailey's
are in some of Robt's Deeds, and married into families allied with Robert Sr.
Palatiah Bailey married Thomas Betterton, father of our Nancy [Betterton] White

      A-37-38: Dec 31, 1801, Will of John Bailey, proved 9 Mar 1802, by wife Mary, to Thomas Winn (Wynn?) one dollar, to Wm Winn one dollar, to son Harrison Bailey, daughter Susanna Lawson, and her sons Harrison Bailey and Wm Bailey, my daughter Palatiah Betterton, son-in-law Thomas Betterton to be executor. Wit: William White, Robert White, James Duncan s/o Alex, proved by James Duncan.
